The people around us are our mirror. There are two ways we can use that mirror: by listening to what they have to say (asking for feedback) or by observing who surrounds us. The people in our lives reflect our choices, actions, values, and beliefs.
And just like when we look in the mirror and see something we don’t like, we have a choice about what to do. We can:
- Ignore it
- Change it
- Accept it
- Wait for someone else to make the change
- Stop looking at the mirror altogether
- Get rid of the mirror entirely
It’s entirely up to us. Whatever we choose—to act or not to act—it is still a choice.
Some people ignore what they see, while others use it as an opportunity to set intentions for themselves and their self-leadership.
So, how are you using the image of the man in the mirror?
